Boss FS-6 Power Modification
This page documents the modification I made to my Boss FS-6 dual footswitch to accept line power in addition to battery.
I don't understand why Boss would make a pedal that requires power but lacks a jack for a power supply. So, I added one.

I soldered leads to a 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC power jack (center negative) and soldered the other end of the leads to the battery connections on the circuit board. I left the original battery connector in place in order to keep that option available.

I drilled a 5/16" hole between the center and the “A” jack positions, and mounted the jack to the back panel.
